HYATT REGENCY IRVINE
Challenged with a fast-track schedule for a vacant property, the Rosemont team took on all FF&E and OS&E aspects of the $55 million dollar transformation of the aging Hotel Irvine into the AAA FourDiamondrated Hyatt Regency Irvine. We worked with Gensler, DLR, and freight expeditors to re-open this property in thoughtfully planned phases so that Hyatt could maintain the high standards that a Hyatt Regency guest expects.
The design of the property embraces SoCal approachability with the urban sophistication of the city. It entailed fully reimagined public spaces and guest rooms that brought a fresh direction or the Hyatt Regency brand.
Rosemont Responsibilities included:
516 Guestrooms/Suites (ALL FF&E and OS&E)
Over 120,000 SQF of Public Space with 95% custom FF&E pieces
Public Areas included: Meeting Rooms, Regency Club, Market Restaurant, Large Pool Lounge Area, Lobby, and Co-Working Lounge (ALL FF&E and OS&E)
Rosemont’s procurement included a high level of focus on Sustainability and the team partnered with MindClick to achieve a sustainability rating of 74/100. MindClick provides product-based analytics and a rating system to help hotel brands, owners, and suppliers measure and improve the environmental and social impact of the products they use.
Because of the attention to custom details and by having a focus on sustainability; the property was able to earn design accolades that include:
2024 BDNY Gold Key Nominee for Upscale Lobby
2025 Sustainable Hospitality Leadership in Design (SHLD) Award for Upscale Guestroom
Finally, our group managed the end-to-end procurement of IT, including hardware, network systems, and supporting technologies. Our approach ensured alignment with the project’s performance standards, budget parameters, and implementation timeline.
